The latest report released by market research firm Counterpoint Research shows that against the backdrop of only a 2% increase in sales of the Chinese mobile phone market in the first quarter of 2024, sales of folding screen phones increased by 48% year-on-year, continuing to maintain a strong growth momentum. In the first quarter of 2024, sales of "book-style" (left and right folding) phones increased by 91%, while sales of small folding (up and down folding) screen devices decreased by 1% year-on-year, indicating that the "book-style" folding screen devices are more popular with consumers.
