Guangdong zinc market: transaction is relatively quiet

#0 zinc in Guangdong was traded at 23065~23210 yuan/mt today. Mainstream brands were quoted with discounts of 80~90 yuan/mt over SHFE 2406 zinc contract, with discounts of 10 yuan/mt against Shanghai prices. During the first trading session, the sellers quoted premiums of up to 20 yuan/ton for Qilin, Huize and Mengzi. High premiums hampered transactions; in the second trading period, Qilin, Mengzi, etc. were offered with discounts of 80 to 90 yuan/ton. Spot trades were lacklustre.
