Silicon enterprises in Yunnan slightly reduced their inventory, operating rates in Sichuan and Yunnan remained at a low level

According to SMM research, output of sample silicon enterprises in Xinjiang (capacity accounting for 76%) was 36,945 tons last week and operating rate was 97%, slightly higher than the previous week. The leading silicon companies in the Xinjiang sample still reported a slight increase in production, driving a slight increase in overall production. The small silicon companies in the sample signed more orders and mainly delivered orders during the week. In addition, the leading silicon companies signed more orders, and the inventory of silicon companies in the sample was consumed faster.

The weekly output of sample silicon enterprises in Yunnan (accounting for 30% of production capacity) was 3,695 tons, and the weekly operating rate was 43%, which was basically the same as the previous week. A few silicon plants stepped up production last week after resuming production two weeks ago. In terms of inventory, several silicon companies in the sample performed well in shipments during the week. Although the remaining silicon companies suffered more losses, they mostly insisted on shipping cargoes. In addition, there were not many silicon companies in production in the sample, so the inventory of the sample silicon companies fell.

The weekly output of sample silicon enterprises in Sichuan (accounting for 32% of production capacity) was 1,000 tons, and the weekly operating rate was 15%, flat from the previous week. Only a few silicon companies in Sichuan were in production, and the production remained stable. Near the end of the month, the silicon companies that had stopped production in the sample were not very motivated to resume production in May. In terms of inventory, some standard silicon companies in the sample signed orders during the week despite losses. The remaining silicon-producing companies in the sample mostly produced for self-use. The overall inventory declined slightly.
