The information released today (10th) by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) shows that in the first quarter of this year, China's automobile industry has started smoothly and achieved a good start. Chen Shihua, deputy secretary-general of CAAM, said that specifically, automobile production and sales have shown rapid growth, both passenger cars and commercial vehicles have performed well; the market share of new energy vehicles has remained stable at over 30%; and the export of complete vehicles still maintains a high level, continuing to play an active role in driving industry growth.
