According to reports, Shaanxi Nonferrous Yulin New Materials Group is currently undertaking the construction of the "annual production of 430,000 tons of aluminum-based new materials project". This project is one of the key projects of the group, aimed at leveraging advantages, extending the industrial chain, increasing product added value, and enhancing enterprise competitiveness. The project scope includes annual production of 430,000 tons of deformed aluminum and aluminum alloy flat ingots, cast-rolled strips, cast alloys, and deformed aluminum alloy round ingots. The project employs the latest domestic purification and smelting technologies to produce various aluminum products. Compared to traditional processes, the project reduces energy consumption and metal loss, shortens processing sequences, lowers production costs, and boasts mature technology and reliable equipment.

The project is divided into two phases of construction, the first phase includes the construction of industrial plants, integrated buildings, and the production of deformed aluminum and aluminum alloy flat ingots, cast-rolled strips; the second phase involves the construction of cast aluminum alloys, high strength and heat-resistant scandium-containing aluminum alloy bars, and electrolytic aluminum liquid purification facilities.
