Berlitz and Moroccan Government Seal Investment Deal for Lithium Battery Project in Tangier Technology Park

【Milestone in Globalization Strategy! Berlitz and Moroccan Government Officially Sign Investment Agreement】On March 29th, Berlitz signed an investment agreement with the Moroccan government in Rabat to establish a project company in Morocco for investing in and building a lithium battery cathode material project to meet market demand and expand overseas market share. Moroccan Prime Minister Aziz Akhennouch, Chinese Ambassador to Morocco Li Changlin, and Commercial Counselor Zheng Wei from the Chinese Embassy in Morocco attended the signing ceremony and met with Berlitz Chairman He Xueqin.

According to the agreement, Berlitz's Mediterranean project will be located in the Tangier Technology Park in Morocco, where a cathode material manufacturing plant will be established to produce key materials for lithium-ion batteries in stages. Construction is expected to start in the second quarter of 2024.
