【SMM Lithium Carbonate Futures Review: LC2407 main contract fell by 2.68%】 On March 22nd, the main contract of lithium carbonate 2407 fell by 2.68%. According to data, the main contract of lithium carbonate 2407 opened at 117,200/ton and closed at 114,350/ton on the same day. The trading volume was 243,895 lots, with an open interest of 200,633 lots, a decrease of 7,390 lots compared to the previous trading day. SMM's battery-grade lithium carbonate spot price was 110,000-115,100 yuan/ton on the same day, with an average price of 112,550 yuan/ton, unchanged from the previous working day. From the trend perspective, the lithium carbonate price continued to decline after the opening on the same day until the end of the morning session. After the lunch break, the price slightly rebounded. However, it declined significantly towards the end of the trading day, eventually closing down by 2.68%.】

With a fragile grid, a 20.6% curtailment rate and the world's second-highest residential power prices, Brazil will launch Latin America's largest national storage tender (about 18GW in round one) in December 2026, drawing CATL, Trina, Hithium, CLOU, Gotion and Great Power to expand locally.
