79 nickel mining companies' RKAB have been approved by the Indonesian government
From today SMM nickel webinar, Meidy Katrin, the general secretary of APNI, highlighted nickel ore demand in Indonesia is expected to be 260 million tons in 2024 as more nickel processing plants will come on stream. Currently 79 nickel mining companies' RKAB(work plan and budget) have been approved by the government with total 165 million tons. The Indonesian authorities will try to finish the remaining 286 nickel mining companies' RKAB application by the end of March.
