Quarterly Report of Vale in 2023:

The total iron ore production was 89.397 million tons, an increase of 3.7% compared to the previous quarter and an increase of 10.6% year-on-year. Among them, the production of iron ore pellets was 9.851 million tons, an increase of 7.4% compared to the previous quarter and an increase of 19.2% year-on-year.

The total iron ore sales volume was 90.328 million tons, an increase of 12.1% compared to the previous quarter and a decrease of 1.8% year-on-year. Among them, the sales volume of iron ore pellets was 10.285 million tons, an increase of 19.4% compared to the previous quarter and an increase of 17.0% year-on-year. The target production volume for 2024 remains unchanged at 310-320 million tons.
