On January 16, 2024, Weiyuan Shares (600955.SH, Lihua Yiweiyuan Chemical Co., Ltd.) stated on the investor interaction platform that the company currently has a 100,000 tons/year dimethyl carbonate unit and a 250,000 tons/year electrolyte solvent unit under construction. In addition, Weiyuan has also built and put into operation a 700,000 tons/year production capacity for benzoate propyiene, 240,000 tons/year for bisphenol A, 130,000 tons/year for non-phosgene polycarbonate, and 100,000 tons/year for isopropyl alcohol.
