Coke market may swing in weakness this week

Most coking plants’ losses expanded last week, beyond acceptable thresholds of some of them. In addition, there were still environmental inspections in major production areas. Under this circumstance, coke supply shrank, while demand was modest last week. Overall, ample supply, moderate demand and waning cost support may tip coke market into bearish trajectory this week. Coke price will undergo a third round of dip.
