Government Departments Issue Guidelines for Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology Standard System to Promote Integration in Energy and Other Industries

Three departments: focus on the development and utilization of distributed energy, etc., to carry out key standard research on energy data definition, conceptual models, etc.

On January 12, three departments issued a notice on the issuance of the "Guidelines for the Construction of Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology Standard System" (hereinafter referred to as the "Guidelines").

The "Guidelines" specify the application methods of blockchain in specific industries, promoting the deep integration of blockchain with the real economy. It mainly includes manufacturing, government affairs, energy, finance, radio and television, cultural tourism, telecommunications and other fields. Among them, the energy standards specify the requirements related to blockchain-based energy scheduling and trading, equipment data monitoring, and are used to guide the integrated application of blockchain in the development and utilization of distributed energy, as well as the entire process of energy production and consumption. The key focus is on carrying out key standard research on energy data definition, conceptual models, system architecture, and evaluation indicators around the development and utilization of distributed energy, production and consumption, etc.
