Congressional Research Service: Biden splurges $8 billion to cultivate hydrogen energy industry
Recently, the Biden administration announced that the U.S. Department of Energy will allocate $7 billion to establish 7 regional clean hydrogen energy centers (H2Hubs) across the U.S. for hydrogen fuel production and to build a new hydrogen energy industry. An additional $1 billion will be used to support demand-side reforms.
First Hydrogen plans to deploy and produce in North America
Following successful testing in the UK, First Hydrogen is now focusing on deploying hydrogen fuel cell vehicles in North America. First Hydrogen announced the development of two demonstration hydrogen fuel cell vehicles in the Quebec region and plans to build a vehicle assembly plant in Quebec with an annual capacity of 25,000 vehicles.
