Shenzhen Energy has released the 'Shanwei Honghai Bay 650,000-kilowatt Offshore Wind Power Project Feasibility Study Consultation and Special Report Service Bid Candidates Public Announcement.' The announcement shows that the first bid candidate is China Energy Construction Group Guangdong Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd., with a bid price of 52.3 million yuan, and the second bid candidate is China Electric Power Construction Group East China Survey and Design Research Institute Co., Ltd., with a bid price of 53.35 million yuan.
The Shanwei Honghai Bay 6 site is located in the southern sea area of Honghai Bay Development Zone, Shanwei City, Guangdong Province, with a site area of 62km². The offshore distance from the center of the site is 33km, with a water depth of 43-48m. The planned total installed capacity of the project is 500MW, with 27 units of 18.8MW wind turbines to be arranged.
