Jinko Solar Announces Delivery of 72 SunGiga C&I ESS Energy Storage Systems to Japan

Jinko Solar to Deliver 72 SunGiga C&I ESS Energy Storage Systems to Japan Jinko Solar announced that it will deliver a 15.48MWh storage system to GWI's Tiger Neo+ESS utility project in Japan, consisting of 72 units of their 215kWh liquid-cooled SunGiga container ESS.

It is reported that SunGiga is specifically designed for the 250kW mainstream market and can be used for 2-hour and 4-hour applications. Safety being the primary concern in battery system technology, SunGiga has undergone comprehensive safety design at the battery, rack, battery pack, and system levels. AI-assisted battery monitoring technology calculates the battery status with high precision online and provides early warnings to prevent thermal runaway, with five layers of protection to mitigate electrical hazards.
