50MW/100MWh Phase I! Independent Energy Storage Project in Baihe Town, Kaiping City, Guangdong Province officially starts construction

Recently, the new independent energy storage project (Phase I 50MW/100MWh) in Baihe Town, Kaiping City, Guangdong Province has officially started construction. This project is currently the largest grid-side independent energy storage power station project in Kaiping City. The Phase I 50MW/100MWh project is planned to invest 250 million yuan, covering an area of approximately 18 acres. The energy storage system includes one set of EMS central control system, 20 sets of PCS booster integrated machine, 20 sets of battery system containers, central control building, 110kV booster station, and 110kV outgoing line connected to the 220kV Baihe substation. The average discharge capacity of the energy storage power station is approximately 18 million kWh, with an annual charging capacity of approximately 20 million kWh, and an average of 300 charge-discharge cycles per year, with a 20-year operating period.
