Overall, recent rainy and snowy weather has affected logistics and transportation in the northern region, resulting in poor delivery of coking coal to steel mills. In addition, steel mills have low coking coal inventories and are in need of restocking. With continuing support from coking coal costs, the third round of coking coal price increase is expected to be implemented soon. The coking coal market is expected to remain stable in the future.
