This figure accounts for about half of the total new installed capacity of distributed photovoltaics, and exceeds a quarter of the national total installed capacity of photovoltaics.

Henan occupies an important position in the distributed photovoltaic market, with a cumulative installed capacity of household photovoltaics reaching 20.84 million kilowatts, ranking second nationwide. However, the province's photovoltaic power generation is in stark contrast to rural electricity consumption, resulting in an excess of power generation. Most areas have a red-level capacity assessment, with far more yellow areas than green areas. As a result, the government has begun to frequently introduce policy measures to suspend the filing, construction, and grid connection of distributed photovoltaic projects.
