The first distributed photovoltaic power generation and storage project in Yangjia Village, Heilizhai Town, Gaoqing County, Zibo City, Shandong Province has been put into operation. The project was invested and constructed by Yangjia Village Cooperative, using the roofs of local farmers' houses to concentrate the electricity to the 10 kV grid. The project has a capacity of 3MW, with 3MW of energy storage and 2 AC charging piles. This project has formed a new energy model of "generation, grid, load, storage, and charging".

According to the Energy Storage Network, the distributed photovoltaic power generation and storage project can not only effectively absorb new energy, stabilize the operation of the power grid, but also bring higher economic benefits with the configuration of charging piles. It is estimated that after the project is put into production, the annual power generation could reach 4.2 million kWh, equivalent to saving 1700 tons of standard coal and reducing 3375 tons of carbon dioxide emissions, equivalent to planting 93,000 trees.
