SMM, November 24th - SMM battery-grade lithium carbonate index was at 138,042 yuan/ton, down 1,762 yuan/ton from the previous working day; the average price of battery-grade lithium carbonate was at 131,000-145,000 yuan/ton, with an average of 138,000 yuan/ton, down 0.15 yuan/ton from the previous working day; the average price of industrial-grade lithium carbonate was at 122,000-134,000 yuan/ton, with an average of 128,000 yuan/ton, down 0.15 yuan/ton from the previous working day. Today, lithium salt companies continued to hold prices firm and mainly focused on long-term sales; after the continuous decline in the spot price of lithium carbonate in the near term, a small number of downstream cathode material companies have slightly changed their purchasing sentiment, with some engaging in small-scale purchases at the low spot prices, but the overall spot market transaction volume remains relatively flat, with no apparent increase in volumes."
