From October 9 to November 10, refined nickel's social inventory displayed an upward trend, up 47.6% MoM, while bonded area inventory fell by 58.06%. According to an SMM survey, ongoing domestic electrowinning nickel supply and off-season impacts on downstream demand led to weaker spot market transactions and increased social inventory. With most domestic refined nickel in full production and no plans for reduction in November and demand remaining off-season, social inventory of refined nickel is expected to continue growing.
