According to the news from Huayang New Materials Group, the topping out of the 10,000-ton-level sodium ion battery positive and negative electrode material project of Huayang Group has been successfully completed recently, which has achieved a stage result and is of great significance for the early production of the project.

The 10,000-ton-level sodium ion battery positive and negative electrode material project is located in the Xiahe Industrial Park of Shanxi Transformation Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Zone, covering an area of 110 mu and with a total investment of about 1.1 billion yuan. After reaching full production, it can produce 20,000 tons of sodium ion battery positive electrode material and 12,000 tons of sodium ion battery negative electrode material annually, with a total revenue of more than 1.5 billion yuan. After the completion of the project, it will effectively promote the progress of sodium ion battery technology, realize the industrialization of sodium ion battery and key materials, and further lay a leading position for China in the global sodium ion battery field. The project mainly includes No.1 negative electrode plant and No.2 positive electrode plant, with a total construction area of 86921.64 square meters.
