China’s automobile exports grew significantly in October

China’s automobile exports spiked 9.8% MoM and 44.2% YoY to 488,000 units in October. In terms of vehicle types, passenger car exports were 421,000 units, a month-on-month increase of 10.4%, and a year-on-year increase of 50.5%; commercial vehicle exports were 67,000 units, a month-on-month increase of 6.7%, and a year-on-year increase of 14.5%.

The exports totalled 3.92 million units from January to October, a year-on-year increase of 59.7%. In terms of vehicle types, passenger car exports were 3.306 million units, a year-on-year increase of 67.3%; commercial vehicle exports were 616,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 28.3%.
