Pure nickel social inventory continued to rise as supply growth outpaced demand

According to SMM research, pure nickel inventory in six regions across China stood at 14,398 mt, an increase of 1,220 mt WoW. The nickel briquettes inventory remained stable, while nickel plate inventory rose by 1,220 mt to 14,248 mt. Despite price fluctuations and declines, transaction activity improved. However, supply growth outpaced demand, leading to a continued rise in inventory. It is expected that social inventory will keep accumulating in the coming week.
