Good news came from Jidian Energy Valley (Baicheng) Storage Investment Co., Ltd. recently that Jidian Energy Valley Lead-Carbon Battery Production Project was officially put into production on October 23, and the first batch of products was officially put into the market. It is understood that the total investment of Jidian Energy Valley Lead-Carbon Battery Production Project is 10 billion yuan, and the first phase investment is 1.33 billion yuan. After the completion of the first phase, 500 million kVAh lead-carbon batteries can be produced annually and 200,000 tons of waste batteries can be recycled and utilized comprehensively. At the same time, the battery technology research institute will be established. The annual output value can reach 4.4 billion yuan, and the tax is 280 million yuan. It will attract the upstream and downstream enterprises of storage and battery industry to settle in, forming a lead-carbon battery storage energy industry chain from basic material manufacturing, component production to battery assembly, storage energy system integration, and then to the recycling and utilization of waste battery materials.
