Nickel sulfate: On October 19, the SMM battery-grade nickel sulfate index price was 32,113 yuan/ton, a decrease of 121 yuan/ton from the previous working day. The battery-grade nickel sulfate price was 32,000-33,000 yuan/ton, a lower price than the previous day. The working day is reduced by 100 yuan/ton, and the average price is reduced by 50 yuan/ton from the previous working day. From the current supply side, as raw materials are still tight and prices are high, salt factories still have a price support mentality. However, downstream wait-and-see sentiment pervades the market, and some salt factories have loosened their price support mentality and have slightly lowered their quotations. From the perspective of downstream precursors, there is currently no obvious raw material gap, and the price of nickel sulfate is still at a relatively high level, so we remain on the sidelines. The current price range of nickel sulfate is wide.
