BHP’s Iron Ore Sales Grow In Q3 2023, With Production Guidance For Fiscal 2024 Unchanged

SHANGHAI, Oct 19(SMM) –

Production: In 2023 Q3, the iron ore production in BHP’s Pilbara region was 69.448 million mt, down 4% QoQ and 3% YoY.

Sales volume: In 2023 Q3, the total iron ore sales volume of BHP Billiton Ltd. was 71.748 million mt, up 0.8% QoQ and 2% YoY, among which 20.969 million mt were lumps.

Target: BHP Billiton’s iron ore production target for the 2024 fiscal year (July 2023-June 2024) remains unchanged at 282-294 million mt.
