China Northern Rare Earth Group Raised October Listing Prices

SHANGHAI, Oct 7(SMM) – On October 7, China Northern Rare Earth Group released the listed prices of rare earth products of the current month, among which various types increased slightly from the previous month. Lanthanum oxide and cerium oxide were both quoted at 9,800 yuan/mt, flat with that in September. The price of praseodymium-neodymium oxide was 493,400 yuan/mt, a month-on-month increase of 16,700 yuan/mt or 3.5%. The price of neodymium oxide was 501,700 yuan/mt, up 16,700 yuan/mt or 3.44% MoM. Praseodymium-neodymium alloy was quoted at 608,000 yuan/mt, an increase of 20,000 yuan/mt or 3.4% on a monthly basis. Metal neodymium was reported at 618,000 yuan/mt, up 20,000 yuan/mt or 3.34% from the previous month.
