Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development: 72% of the financing and construction tasks for affordable rental housing this year have been completed

The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development stated on September 12 that the financing and construction of affordable rental housing has been accelerating this year, and more than 70% of the annual target tasks were completed. According to the arrangements of the Ministry, localities will continue to be encouraged to build affordable rental housing in industrial parks or key urban construction areas. The Ministry encourages localities to build affordable rental housing in industrial parks or key urban construction areas, around rail transit stations, or in idle commercial office buildings, and to take multiple measures to expand housing supply.
