SHANGHAI, Sep 11 (SMM) –Electrolyte prices dipped slightly as overall demand from battery cells remained limited. Some battery cell companies ramped up production, causing minor demand spikes. Electrolyte production proceeded based on orders, with ample raw material supply. The dropping price of LiPF6, a key cost component, lowered electrolyte costs. This decline in LiPF6 prices slowed later in the week, influenced by stable lithium fluoride prices. However, LiPF6 price is expected to continue its downward trend short-term, likely causing a further but slower decline in electrolyte prices.
