On September 5th, a joint venture formed by Hunan Construction Investment Group's Zhongxiang Overseas and Zhongxiang Capital signed a cooperation framework with a local energy power plant project company in New Zealand for three photovoltaic projects in Wellington, Opunake and Merton. The total capacity of the project is 280MW, with a total investment of about 414 million New Zealand dollars. This project is the result of the active collaboration of the group's brother units "going out to sea together".
It is reported that New Zealand's electricity demand will increase by 18-78% in the next 30 years, and it is planned to achieve 100% renewable energy generation in 2035 and zero carbon emissions in 2050, making New Zealand the first developed country to achieve 100% clean energy.
