According to SMM statistics, the domestic electrolytic aluminum output in August (31 days) was 3.623 million tons, an increase of 3.9% year-on-year. The daily output of domestic electrolytic aluminum in August increased by 1,785 tons to about 116,900 tons. The cumulative output of domestic electrolytic aluminum from January to August was 27.299 million tons, an increase of 2.8% year-on-year.

According to SMM statistics, the domestic electrolytic aluminum capacity has reached about 45.19 million tons (including some capacity that has been built but not put into production and not withdrawn), and the domestic electrolytic aluminum operating capacity has increased to about 42.78 million tons. The national electrolytic aluminum start-up rate is about 94.7%, an increase of 1.4 percentage points month-on-month.
