#0 zinc in Guangdong was traded at 21325-21545 yuan/mt today. Mainstream brands were quoted with premiums of 130-140 yuan/mt over SHFE 2310 zinc contract, with discounts of 160 yuan/mt against Shanghai prices.

SHANGHAI, Sep 5 (SMM) - #0 zinc in Guangdong was traded at 21325-21545 yuan/mt today. Mainstream brands were quoted with premiums of 130-140 yuan/mt over SHFE 2310 zinc contract, with discounts of 160 yuan/mt against Shanghai prices.

In the first trading session, Qilin and Mengzi zinc was quoted with discounts of 5-10 yuan/mt, and most of the transactions occurred with small discounts.

In the second trading session, traders offered Qilin and Mengzi zinc with premiums of 130-140 yuan/mt, and the premiums continued to decline. Spot premiums narrowed, and turned into discounts against the SHFE 2309 zinc contract.
