SHANGHAI, Jul 31 (SMM) – The SMM battery-grade lithium carbonate index was 279,100 yuan/mt today July 31, a decrease of 1,514 yuan/mt from the previous working day.

Battery-grade lithium carbonate price range was 271,000-284,000 yuan/mt, a decrease of 1,000 yuan/mt from the previous working day; industrial-grade lithium carbonate price range was 258,000-267,000 yuan/mt, a decrease of 1,000 yuan/mt.

At the beginning of the week, due to the increase in market supply and the continuous price drop in the market, downstream buyers remained on the sidelines, and the deadlock between sellers and buyers in the market continued.
