Price Of PV-Grade EVA Granules Temporarily Stabilised, But The Price Of EVA Film Did Not Stop Falling

Last week, the price of PV-grade EVA granules temporarily stabilised, but the price of EVA film did not stop falling. The transaction price range of PV-grade EVA granules was 13,500-14,000 yuan/mt, and large film manufacturers accepted goods at the price of 13,500 yuan/mt.

The market acceptance at the price of 14,000 yuan/mt was weak. Petrochemical plants raised prices. For foaming-grade EVA granules, the current price is generally 300-1,000 yuan/mt lower than that of PV-grade EVA granules.

With a lack of positive news, the price could hardly rise as expected by petrochemical plants. As for PV-grade POE, the transaction volume is extremely low amid high upstream and downstream inventory and demand lacking ability to grow. In terms of EVA film, the price continued to fall as of last Friday, down 0.2 yuan/m2. The operating rates of the film factories were low, and the price is difficult to rebound in June.
