SHANGHAI, Jun 13 (SMM) – Battery separator prices were stable last week. Demand from NEV and energy storage sectors has picked up recently. Most battery separator producers have signed long-term contracts with downstream battery cell makers.
Electrolyte prices were unchanged last week. Previous rise in electrolyte prices was due to cost transmission from rising lithium hexafluorophosphate prices. The high-end prices of lithium hexafluorophosphate rose slightly, but the average transaction price remained at 160,000 yuan/mt. Recently, the supply of VC is tight, and its prices tend to rise. Electrolyte prices are expected to remain stable this week.
