China HRC Stocks down 2.11% on Week

SHANGHAI, May 18 (SMM) – The total inventory of HRC across social warehouses and steel makers in China stood at 3.29 million mt as of May 18, down 70,700 mt or 2.11% from a week ago, a drop of 12.59% on the year.

The inventory across social warehouses was 2.21 million mt, down 33,900 mt or 1.51% from a week ago, a drop of 17.15% on the year.

The in-plant inventory of steel makers totalled 1.07 million mt, down 36,800 mt or 3.31% from a week ago, and a decrease of 1.43% on the year.
