SHANGHAI, May 9 (SMM) - Domestic refined tin output was 14,954 mt in April, down 1.06% on the month and 0.99% on the year, and the combined output from January to April fell 3.37% on the year, according to SMM research. The actual output was lower than expected mainly because three smelters in Guangxi and Jiangxi did not realize their production increase plan in April and three smelters in Yunnan reduced and stopped the production accidentally due to the raw material shortage and high costs.
