In the first quarter, Guangdong's real estate development investment was 0.29 trillion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 8.2%, with the decline 0.3 percentage point narrower compared with January to February, 6.1 percentage points narrower from the previous year.
Among them, the investment in commercial residential decreased by 4.7%. In terms of regions, the completed development investment in the core area of the Pearl River Delta fell by 7.0%, and that in the east, west and north of Guangdong fell by 14.0%.
In the first quarter, the sales area of commercial housing in Guangdong increased by 9.8%, 10.0 percentage points higher than that of January-February, and 34.2 percentage points higher than that of the previous year.
