In-Plant Inventory Of Major Deliverable Primary Lead Held By Smelters Decline

SHANGHAI, Apr 17 (SMM) - According to SMM survey, the in-plant inventory of major deliverable primary lead held by smelters stood at 3,900 mt as of April 14, down 1,800 mt from a week ago. The decline was driven by shipments to delivery warehouses ahead of upcoming delivery of SHFE 2303 contract and maintenance by large smelters. In addition, active shipments after lead prices rose also contributed to lower inventories.
