Ocean Freight Rises Slightly In March and to Grow Further in April

SHANGHAI, Apr 12 (SMM) - In March, the ocean freight grew slightly. February BDI index closed at 1,389, up 290 from 1,099 at the beginning of the month. The global ocean freight grew slightly on the rise in oil prices, but the freight was still at a relatively low level amid the overcapacity. Ocean freight is expected to grow slightly in April with the increase in demand.
