Chile’s earnings from copper exports rebounded sharply in March after falling sharply in the first two months of the year.
This has significantly improved the tightening global copper supply.
The latest data released by the Chilean central bank on Monday showed that while copper metal prices fell slightly on average, the total copper export revenue of Chile, the world's largest copper producer, surged by 33% month-on-month, reaching the highest level in more than a year.
