Operating Rates of Blast Furnaces Surge Wow Last Week as Many Blast Furnaces in East China Resume Production

SHANGHAI, Apr 10 (SMM) - SMM research showed that the average operating rate of blast furnaces stood at 94.65% last week, up 0.6 percentage point WoW. The capacity utilisation rate averaged 95.67%, up 0.65 percentage point on the week. The daily average pig iron output of sample steel mills was 2.23 million mt, up 15,500 mt. Four blast furnaces in east China resumed operation last week.
