China Rebar Stocks down 2.7% on Week

SHANGHAI, Mar 30 (SMM) – The total inventory of rebar across social warehouses and steel makers in China stood at 10.35 million mt as of Thursday March 30, down 292,400 mt or 2.7% from a week ago, and down 14% from the same period last year.

The inventory across social warehouses was 7.44 million mt, down 181,300 mt or 2.38% on the week, and a drop of 17.3% on the year.

The in-plant inventory stood at 2.92 million mt, down 111,100 mt or 3.7% on the week, and down 4.4% on the year.
