Mark Le Dain, an analyst at Neo Financial in Canada, said:” whenever I see copper inventories or supply and demand charts, I pretend that I don't understand them correctly. But the future copper gap has widened, and since no one else has sounded the alarm, I think I may just be confused. A few months ago, everyone, especially those involved in clean energy policy, should have spoken out about copper, but there were few voices. That started to change last week as Trafigura and Goldman Sachs began to sound alarm on global copper supplies.”
