Traditional Off-season Significantly Weigh on Lead Demand in March and April

SHANGHAI, Mar 28 S(MM) - Traditional off-season has significantly weighed on the lead demand in March and April, hence primary lead and secondary lead smelters generally plan to overhaul during this period. As such, lead prices may hover sideways amid falling demand and supply. Despite the low lead ingot inventory, SHFE lead prices will fall if the domestic demand weakens, but may rise if LME lead prices increase and the export window opens.
