SHANGHAI, Mar 27 (SMM) - Last week, the end-user consumption in the lead-acid battery market gradually weakened, and the digestion of dealers’ supply slowed down. There were sales promotions in the electric bicycle and car battery markets. Some sales promotions, undertaken by automakers, can slow down the downward trend of battery sales, while some conducted by battery dealers gave little boost to end-user consumption.
The production of large-scale enterprises was still acceptable, and they purchased raw material lead as required mostly under long-term contracts. The purchasing enthusiasm of small and medium-sized enterprises declined as they mainly purchased on demand.
