According to the Luliang City Emergency Management Bureau, on March 7, 2023, a safety accident occurred at a key state-owned coal mine in Linxian County, Luliang City.
The mine has an approved production capacity of 10 million mt and mainly produces 1/3 coking coal and thermal coal. At present, the mine has been completely shut down for rectification and the secondary standardisation level has been withdrawn.
