SHANGHAI, Feb 17 (SMM) - #0 zinc in Guangdong was primarily traded at 22,820-22,990 yuan/mt, and quoted with discounts of 30-40 yuan/mt over SHFE 2304 zinc contract. Discounts of Guangdong stood at 60 yuan/mt against Shanghai prices.
Today, zinc prices still hovered at low levels, thus the quotations of goods holders fluctuated little.
On the whole, the downstream buyers mainly purchased on dips. The strong purchasing sentiment slightly pushed up the premiums.
