SHANGHAI, Sep 19 (SMM) - The prices of lithium carbonate rose slightly last week. Supply in the spot market remained tight. The top-tier smelters prioritised the delivery of long-term orders while suspending their quotations in the spot market. The shipments from Qinghai remained slow due to pandemic-induced transportation controls. The rapid ramp-up of LFP production boosted the demand for lithium carbonate. The demand from LCO plants has also gradually picked up as they are in a rush to meet their annual targets.
